De wedstrijd bij de junioren in Balegem werd gedomineerd door Belgisch kampioen Yordi Corsus. Van start tot finish reed hij solo aan de leiding. Bij aankomst had de tweedejaars junior zelfs nog tijd voor een wheelie. De provinciale titel van Oost-Vlaanderen was voor Ibe Dhondt. Hij kwam als tweede in wedstrijd over de aankomst.
