De Amerikaan Jack Maddux won de wedstrijd in Heerst-Bovelingen van zijn teamgenoot Gage Hecht. Jack bezorgde ons volgend verslag:

Our plan was to be the early aggressor, due to the tight roads, and extreme wind. We got a break going, we first started with 8 people, 2 of which were my teammates. We whiddled it down to 6 people, and were attacking the group to wear out the other riders. With 2 to go, I attacked up the first hill, got a gap and my teammate and one other kid joined me. My teammate, Gage Hecht, ended up attacking, and solo'ing for a half a lap, and then I joined him and rode with him to take the win. It was a great day.
